Privacy Policy

Pyroloom (“we”, “us”) provides fireworks show design and scripting tools through our web app and iOS app. Both apps talk to the same backend and account, so this policy covers both. This page explains what data we collect, why, and how it’s handled.

What we collect

  • Account information. Your email address, used to sign you in (a one-time code sent to your inbox — we don’t store a password for normal accounts) and to identify you within the app.
  • Show and project data. Everything you create in the app — fireworks show designs, timeline events, hardware/module configurations, custom firework definitions, and venue selections — so it can be saved, synced across devices, and exported.
  • Uploaded audio files. Music tracks you add to a show, stored so they can be played back and synced to your timeline.
  • Collaboration data. If you share a project or invite someone to an organization, we store the invitee’s email address and the resulting membership so access can be granted correctly.
  • AI feature usage (web only). If you use the web app’s optional AI features (describing a firework in plain language, or generating a full show), the text you enter is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. If you choose to supply your own Anthropic API key instead of using ours, that key is stored so those requests can be billed to your own account. These AI features are not present in the iOS app.

What we don't do

We don’t use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs of any kind. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone except the service providers below, strictly to operate the app.

Service providers

  • Supabase — our database, authentication, and file storage provider. All account, project, and uploaded-file data is stored with Supabase.
  • Anthropic — processes text you submit to the web app’s optional AI features (see above). Not used by the iOS app.
  • Resend — sends project/organization invite emails on our behalf when you invite someone by email.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at the email below and we’ll process the request.

Children's privacy

Pyroloom is a professional tool for fireworks show design and is not directed at children. We don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 13.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
